Enabling verification on my phone or tablet
After entering your details on the Secure Citizen identity verification page, you will be prompted to start the verification process. If you encounter issues with your laptop camera or know that the quality isn’t great, you can continue the verification process on your smartphone or tablet.
At the start of the verification process, you will receive an email. Open this email on your smartphone or tablet and continue the verification process there. You will be prompted to enable your smartphone or tablet’s camera. Make sure you remove any hats, caps and glasses. You will also need to make sure you are in a well lit space. When you are ready, click on continue. Once your selfie photo has been captured, the system is able to match your biometrics with your ID - you have then been successfully verified and may continue on Bob Shop.
